VS-Dir, a directory service that is tied into the Realm-12 search engine has launched. Xtream Global has placed a VS-Dir on Honeyhitz.net traffic exchange as of 02-13-2010. Members of Honeyhitz traffic exchange can start posting their links at Site Lists.

Phase One of the Directory is a free listing service. It is similar in concept to an ffa, with some major differences:

1. You must be a member of Honeyhitz traffic exchange to post to the Lists. No autoposting, no links from outside sources accepted.
2. Ads and links will not roll off quickly. While not permanent - as in forever - they will stay on each List Page for long periods of time.
3. Each Ad has room for up to 500 characters. As Content is King in the search engines, this gives you room for relevant content which will help in the search engines.
4. All Ads are reviewed by Admin. There are no Blind posts.
5. Admin is the ONLY person who ever sends you an email relative to the Directory. Email is sent to advise you if your site has been accepted or rejected, and when it expires. (So you can re-post if desired.)

You can also read more about this new service at Honeyhitz VS-Dir Directory Services

In March, a full-scale Permanent Link Directory Service with Search Boxes will be added to the Free Listing Service. Members who post to the Permanent Link Directory will have the option to post the same ad and link to multiple catagories, as well as the Free Listing Directory. The Honeyhitz traffic exchange directory is tied into Realm-12, which is a search engine agent which connects other VS-Directories into one large network: similar to what VS-Ten does for traffic exchanges. As Search Boxes become available, people at one directory will be able to search by topic to find matches not only from one directory, but from other directories in the Network.

The venue itself is fully seo configured, making it easy for the webmaster to optimize the service for the major search engines. VS-Dir is available as a stand alone product, or as an add-on module for existing TrEx scripts. Xtream added VS-Dir as a module to the honeyhitz traffic exchange, with plans to add them to other trex sites. We also plan on turning several other sites - like Launchapage, into stand alone VS-Dir Directories sometime in 2010.

Webmasters interested in obtaining VS-Dir while still in Alpha Mode can find more information at the Varisearch Software Site, or by visiting the Varisearch Script purchase section.

Rich Parker holds regular live support sessions for trex scripts owners every weekend. If you are a trex script owner, or considering using one of his many scripts currently available or in development, you are welcome to join us in session. See our Xtream Live Webinar Schedule for details.
